Comiket 75
Posted by ELTboy on December 28, 2008
The 3-day Comiket 75 kicks off today. Hobby Stock blog & Moeyo brings us a quick update on the new figures on display during the event. The update is primarily on Good Smile Company figures. I must say, quite a lot of exciting line-up!
Let’s get on with the goodies!

Loads of Nendoroids were on display at Comiket 75 and the most exciting is this Nendoroid Hiiragi Kagami cosplaying Miku as seen in Lucky Star OVA. The figure is scheduled for May 2009 release.
Quick run through on the rest of the Nendoroids:

Nendoroid Kureha from Shining Wind, scheduled for June 2009 release

Nendoroid Razberyl scheduled for May 2009 release. Kawaii ne!

Two unpainted Nendoroids of Preicia and Sebastian Michaelis. Preicia is scheduled for June 2009 while no release date has been confirmed for Sebastian.

Phototaking of the above 2 Nendoroids are prohibited as the prototype figures is still undergoing refinement. They are Nendoroid Nagi and Nendoroid Francesca Lucchini. Wait a minute … Nendoroid NAGI?! Nagi-sama?! Hontou desu ka???
Here we look at the scale figures on display:

1/8 scale Kyouka Midarezaki by Good Smile Company. She is scheduled for May 2009 but price unknown. Looking very nice indeed.

1/4 scale Nanoha Takamachi. Wow … she is big. Not really sure if she is produced by Good Smile. Probably FREEing or Gift instead I think. And also an unpainted prototype of 1/8 scale Akiha Shishido from upcoming anime, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo. Looks good and potentially could turn out great. I will be keeping an eye on both the anime and figure.

A different version of Good Smile’s Hatsune Miku with her eyes closed. Seems like this figure is linked to a certain CM.

Two prohibited scale figures on display, one of them probably THE figure of the event. 1/7 scale Saber Lily who is scheduled for June 2009. Definitely hope to see her prototype soon. Another is 1/8 scale Moeka Akashiya of Rosario + Vampire who is scheduled for June 2009 as well.
Next are two new figmas but sadly, photo taking are also prohibited.

Yes, another set of Haruhi figmas in the works. This time, it is Haruhi-sama and Mikuru ~ Cheer Girl version. They are set for March 2009 release. Unless they are really good, I doubt I will be interested though as I am not a hardcore action figure fan.
More coverage of the event should be up soon. For now, thanks to Hobby Stock blog and Moeyo for the quick coverage. You can see much more at their blogs respective.
The following are updated adds from Akiba Hobby. Loads more at his blog.

1/6 scale Coathicarte Apa Lagranges by Kotobukiya. Sexy looking figure. Scheduled for June 2006 release. That’s real lace on her by the way. Preview of this figure available at GA Graphic.

Figures displayed at Volks booth. Need help identifying the characters though. The first one is from Sengoku Rance and I think is a PVC figure. Figures from Nanoha StrikerS, Toushin Toushi and a couple others were also on display by Volks.

Poseable figures of Musubi and Gwendolyn from Yujin.
Again, there are loads more at Akiba Hobby, including new Nendoroid Puchi from The Idolmaster and Suzumiya Haruhi, Mechas, dolls, etc.
This Comiket event is turning out to be a mini Wonfest! Too bad Alter did not participate (I think). I am waiting to see their new Subaru (Nanoha StrikerS) figure prototype! Guess I’ll have to wait until the new year.
So, my eyes are cast on the 1/7 Saber Lily, 1/8 Akiha Shishido, maybe 1/8 Kyouka Midarezaki too. And also Nendoroid Kagami cosplay Miku and Nendoroid Nagi. Yes, I guess resistance is futile afterall. I AM getting Nendoroids. I guess I follow Nagi-sama wherever she goes. (^_^)”

Comiket has never been an event about figures, it probably is just that because of the cancellation of Wonfes early next year that they are showing more in Comiket this time round. Surprisingly, and rather thankfully, I am only interested in 1 figure and knowing where she is from (not shown here).

@Panther: I thought so too. I was amazed by the number of new figures on display, by Good Smile at least.
