Alter’s Fate Is Coming …

Yes, Alter’s Fate is certainly coming. Alter’s Kaihatsubu Oshigoto blog’s latest entry reveals an updated and modified version of their upcoming Fate T. Harlaown prototype figure from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. The Fate prototype was last seen at Wonder Festival Summer and fans, myself included, have been eagerly awaiting the updates on the figure.

It seems that the prototype underwent quite a bit of refinement and modification since then. The first distinctly noticeable change is the hair. I believe the prototype on view at WonFest was very much in its initial moulding stages. Now, the hair is completed and looks really great. There is also noticeable creases and folds to her outfit. (Adds: Notice that the placement of her Riot Zamber on her right hand seems to be facing more downwards too.)

My knowledge of the Japanese is very much half-baked but there was a mention on the blog entry about a reduction in size of the prototype figure. I might have misread it, do correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, the figure is still in the works. But the last time Alter updates their blog with the Subaru prototype, she was up for pre-order within weeks. Since this blog entry is related to Megahouse Expo 2009 Winter, it is highly likely the completed and painted prototype figure will make its first appearance at the event. Also mentioned on the blog is that more new prototype figures will be unveiled at the event.
