Review of Donne Anonime (Namae no Nai Onna)

For this figure photoshoot review, I decided to pick the most expensive purchase in my collection so far. She is Tora no Ana’s 1/6 scale figure of Donne Anonime a.k.a. Namae no Nai Onna who was released in May earlier this year. I am not very familiar with the character, but she is a bounty hunter from the Nitro+ eroge Satsuriku no Jango.

Queen’s Blade Rebellion Yumiru

Megahouse officially announced a new figure in the form of Yumiru from their line of Excellent Core Model series. The figure is 1/8 scale and is scheduled for sales release in March 2010 for a retail price of 6,800 yen. Yumiru hails from Queen’s Blade Rebellion and is the 4th figure from the series after Annelotte, Mirim and Yuito.

 

October 2009 Figures Haul

It’s time again to look at my figures haul for the month. I guess I have been overspending this month. That is always the case when I venture into auction or get any unplanned purchases. I normally try to stick to my pre-orders unless a great deal comes along. Of course, it’s getting hard to plan with pre-orders recently when just about every figure on my list are getting delayed.

Anyway, here’s a look at my figure arrivals for this month.

GSC’s Nendoroid Ritsu and Kotobukiya’s Mio

Here’s a couple of K-ON! figures news. Following Nendoroid Mio and Yui, Good Smile Company today officially announces the scheduled release of Nendoroid Ritsu Tainaka while yesterday, Kotobukiya announced their first K-ON! figure in the form of a 1/8 scale Mio Akiyama ~ Original Costume ver. ~.

Nendoroid Jiei-tans and Swimsuit Yagyu Jubei

Atten…tion! The Hobby Japan online exclusive edition of Nendoroid Marine Jiei-tan is officially open for pre-order today! At the same time, Hobby Channel offers a preview look at the normal edition of Nendoroid Jiei-tan as well as a heavenly look at an upcoming 1/8 scale swimsuit figure of Yagyu Jubei!

GSC Yuzuko Hayakawa – To Get or Not to Get?

So this is the question that I am asking myself with the official announcement from Good Smile Company for the release of the 1/8 scale figure of Yuzuko Hayakawa. The figure is scheduled for release in March 2010 for the retail price of 9,800 yen. The character Yuzuko hails fom the serialized manga, Yuzuko Peppermint.

Nendoroid Megurine Luka

A quick post on another figure to add to my pre-order list … Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid Megurine Luka. The Nendoroid was just announced today for scheduled release in January 2010 for a retail price of 3,500 yen. Megurine hails from the popular Vocaloid series and is the 5th character to be released as Nendoroid.

 

GSC Alphard and Yamato Marin

Good Smile Company officially announced the scheduled release of the 1/8 scale Alphard figure from the anime CANAAN. She is scheduled for release in March 2010 for a retail price of 8,800yen. Also announced on the day by Yamato is a 1/7 scale figure of the sweet Marin from the anime Umi Monogatari. Marin is scheduled for release in December 2009 for a retail price of 7,800yen.

Alter Shamal and GSC Nendoroid Marisa

Here are two more figures to add to my pre-order list. Alter continues the releases of figures from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS with the announcement of the 1/7 scale Shamal for pre-order while Good Smile Company also releases information regarding the scheduled release of Nendoroid Marisa Kirisame. For Marisa, she is the 2nd character from Touhou Project to be released as Nendoroid by GSC.

Here’s a look at the long awaited Shamal (for me at least ^^).

Ichiban Kuji’s K-ON! Figures Painted

Oh gosh … I must be getting real lazy. It’s been more than a week since my last post. The fact that it’s been fairly quiet on the figure scene doesn’t help either. I have been wanting to do an afterthought post on the summer animes for a while now as well, but just ain’t got the mood to start writing. Hope I can pen down my thoughts before the end of the week.
