Here is the listing of all the figure photoshoot reviews that I have done, from my first amateurish photoshoot to my latest reviews. This page will, in a way, chronicle my journey in figure photography. At the same time, these photoshoot reviews are also a way of sharing my passion for figures.

1/8 scale Saber Lily ~ Distant Avalon ~ by Good Smile Company To say that this figure of Saber Lily by Good Smile Company is the most anticipated figure of 2009 is certainly no exaggeration in my opinion. Besides the character’s popularity, one of the main reasons is probably that before Good Smile Company, no other figure maker has been able to capture Saber as accurately and vivdly as they did. |

1/8 scale Unity May by Good Smile Company I decided to do another figure photoshoot after the lingering disatisfaction of the previous shoot of Donne Anonime. I reverted back to my usual setup and am more at peace with most of the resulting photos this time round. Anyway, my subject for this photoshoot is the 1/8 scale figure of Unity May by Good Smile Company. This figure was released in April earlier this year. |

1/6 scale Donne Anonime (Namae no Nai Onna) by Tora no Ana (18+ figure review) For this figure photoshoot review, I decided to pick the most expensive purchase in my collection so far. She is Tora no Ana’s 1/6 scale figure of Donne Anonime a.k.a. Namae no Nai Onna who was released in March earlier this year. I am not very familiar with the character, but she is a bounty hunter from the Nitro+ eroge Satsuriku no Jango. |

1/8 scale Sawatari Makoto by Max Factory I am in the mood to do a figure photoshoot but alas, there were no new figures available for review as my new ones are all still boxed in. Thus, I decided to do a photoshoot review of a figure who was released some time ago but who I only managed to acquire recently – Max Factory’s 1/8 scale Sawatari Makoto. |

1/8 scale Yomako Sensei by Alter I have had this figure of Yomako Sensei for a while but I didn’t take her out of her box due to lack of space to house her in my display cabinet. I finally did some rearrangements of my figures and eventually managed to find space for her next to my Eye Up (now known as UpLark) Yoko. Hence the opportunity for a photoshoot review of the figure. |

1/8 scale Kaori Kanzaki by Kotobukiya Since I started collecting PVC figures, I have amazingly never pre-ordered any figures made by Kotobukiya. Some of their figures do appeal to me, but somehow, they never ended up on my pre-order list. This 1/8 scale figure of Kaori Kanzaki though, is the first figure by Kotobukiya that actually made me placed a pre-order when she was announced. |

1/7 scale Teana Lanster by Alter I finally gotten my hands on Alter’s 1/7 scale Teana Lanster from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. It’s been nearly a month’s wait since her release in Japan late last month. Anyway, she is my fourth Nanoha StrikerS figure by Alter, after Vita, Hayate and Signum. So how does she compare to the previous 3 figures? |

1/6 scale Limit Gunz by Artstorm I must admit that when Limit Gunz was first announced, I thought of her as a nice figure that I probably wouldn’t own given that she is unknown to me and rather expensive. But all that change when I saw her prototype figure on display at Anime Festival Asia. I fell in love with her and knew immediately that I had to have her regardless of the price. |

1/8 scale Saber by Gift For a long while, I have been searching for a decent figure of Saber in her knight armor. While there has been no lack of Saber figures in the market given her popularity, hardly any of them was a worthy rendition. That was until the announcement of the Saber figure sculpted by Satoshi Toda. Now that I have her with me, she is everything I wish for … well, almost. |

1/8 scale Pixy Hiyori by Good Smile Company (18+ figure review) My next subject of review is the beautiful Pixy Hiyori figure by Good Smile Company. She is a 1/8 scale figure and hails from the eorge, Chu x Chu Idol. To date, she is my 5th figure from UnisonShift’s eroge. I do not play the eroges, but I like their character designs very much. Pixy Hiyori happens to be a kind hearted girl who is also the manager of the idol, Chua Churam. |

1/7 scale Signum by Alter After an agonizing two week wait after her official sales release in Japan, I finally received Signum. She is my third figure from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS made by Alter. The box containing Signum onee-san is not as big as originally thought, but the figure is certainly much more bigger than I thought she will be. |

1/8 scale Elwing by Kotobukiya I have to admit I was wrong … again. When Unity Yuno pops out on my doorstep, I thought she would be my last figure of the 2008. But two days before the year ends, destiny has it that Elwing eventually turns out to be my real last scale figure of 2008. All because I couldn’t resist getting her when one of my local store was having a sale on all in-stock figures. Life of a figure otaku is tough |

1/8 scale Nanael by Megahouse (18+ figure review) Review of my first figure of the year – Nanael from Megahouse. I didn’t expect her to be my first figure though as I thought Signum would be the one. Anyway, fellow figure collectors will know that she is actually not a newly released figure. In fact, Nanael was released last November. |

1/8 scale Unity Yuno by Good Smile Company My review of Good Smile Company’s Unity Yuno. I had decided to go ahead with the review of her even though the camera I would have used for the photo taking wasn’t with me. Moreover, I was impatient to get her out of the box. |

1/7 scale Hayate Yagami by Alter Here is my review of Alter’s 1/7 scale Hayate Yagami. She is the subject of my first figure photoshoot review. I guess quite a figure to pick for a first review. The resulting photographs are pretty amateurish as expected. The main issue was the shadows casted as a result of the poor lighting. |
